Even when there is no specific problem, there may be a wish to have a voice check-up, in order to find out where one stands in terms of voice technique, for example.
The SingStimmZentrum Zurich therefore offers various forms of voice analysis for all those who
- would like to know more about their voice, even if there is no obvious voice problem, and for all people
- who are starting their training for a voice-intensive profession.
These check-ups cannot be covered by the health insurance. If it becomes clear in the course of the examination that there is a medical problem after all, the health insurance company can still be called in. A dossier with the results of the examinations (voice status, SVHI, Voice Range Profile Measurement etc.) is included in the price and will be handed to the client at the end.

Aptitude test for teachers and other voice-intensive professions
Even outside the obvious voice professions, there are a number of professions that are very voice-intensive. Teachers who teach classes in particular are exposed to great vocal stress in their day-to-day work. That is why we offer vocal aptitude tests for future teachers.

Professionel singers
.For professional singers we provide the possibility to have a status quo analysis done: The images of the video stroboscopy made in a healthy state and the Voice Range Profile Measurement can give a comparison to the “normal state” in case of illness/voice crisis. This is useful in many cases. For example, on tour, when you may not be able to visit your trusted voice doctor, this can help you make a good judgement of the situation.
