Professional activity

  • Freelance teacher of solo singing since 1997 and many deputisations at music schools (e.g. MusikschuleKonservatorium Zürich, Thalwil-Oberrieden, Romanshorn, Untersee und Rhein), since 2017 employed at the Weinfelden Music School, but also continues to work in her own studio for voice Steckborn TG.
  • Voice training for choirs and workshops on the topics of “Difficulties with the singing voice – what to do?” and “Vocal technique/vocal hygiene for teachers”.
  • Supervision of school speech therapists in cases of childhood voice disorders.
  • 2014-2016 Speech therapist specialising in voice at the Outpatient Therapy Centre at Klinik Zihlschlacht TG.
  • Member of the SingStimmZentrum team since 2017.
  • During her music studies, she was also a speech therapist at various primary schools, an employee of Musikhaus Jecklin and ground staff at Swissport Airport Zurich as well as a tour guide for English language courses organised by EF-Reisen.

Further training

  • Ongoing further training of her own voice (e.g. Belting with Martina Bovet and Judith Zürcher in 2016 and 2017, cultivation of her own classical singing technique with the help of various teachers) as well as further training in the therapy of adult and paediatric voice disorders.
  • Research into the bipolar breathing type theory according to Alavi Kia.
  • Participation in SingStimmZentrum courses, its “Interdisciplinary Voice Expert Group” and voice conferences (e.g. 6th Zurich Voice Conference of the University Hospital 2016)
